Basketball

Well, Friday night we played Deerlodge and lost by three points in overtime! It was a really disappointing loss, but we haven't come that close to beating them in a LONG time! I think they were really surprised. Thursday we played Loyola, and...well...we could've played much better. We basically just beat ourselves. I'm really excited about our season! I am totally confident that we will make it to divisionals, and do really well! This was only our first season game. The people who ranked us tied with Darby for last place in our district are going to realize that was a mistake!

Basketball starts soon!

Basketball starts on Monday! I am soo excited, and sooo out of shape! It will be fine though. It's weird because it is my last year playing for Valley:( We should have a pretty good team this year, though. We will just need prayer that no one gets any major injuries...we have a pretty small team. I can't wait!!!!!

Being in Germany this summer was such an amazing experience! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

In Austria

So i have been in Vienna Austria and now am in Graz, and it is so amazing!! God has worked everything out so far and i am having an amazing time. I've met so many cool people and have gotten to tour around a lot. It would take way too long to say everything i've done so far, but it has been wonderful. I am so thankful for all the people who have been praying for us, because without them, we would be having a lot more trouble. we've really come together as a group and are having a great time together. Tonight we get to go hang out with some of the church people here and we are going to have a great time. i'm looking foward to it. thanks to everyone who has been praying!!!

June 23

so i'm leaving for Germany in two days and i can't wait!! i'll be gone for 6 weeks..actually 5 weeks 6 days.. anyways, i'm going to try to keep some posts going while i'm there if i get a chance to be online.
i'm going with a group of 9 other studends from my school, Valley Christian, and my teacher Mrs Clawson and 2 other chaperones. while we're there, we're going to be doing a lot of traveling around and sight seeing, but that's not the only reason we're going. we're going to help missionaries down there in lots of different churches and we're going to do street ministries including lots of cheesy skits we've prepared. i'm a little nervous to have to witness..in german especially, but i know God is going to strengthen me through this and i'm going to grow in my boldness. it will be perfect because that's something i really struggle with, and next year i'm going to be doing a lot of talking in front of the high school as student body president! so that's a little about what i'm doing this summer..
